Current cultures
Many years ago when the people listen about cultures
think in the old cultures, Mayas, Azteca, Incas and others fantastic and
historic cultures but not in our new cultures.
To understand this I research a little definition of a culture took of
English dictionary published in 1819.
“Culture is the
total of the inherited ideas, beliefs, values, and knowledge, which constitute
the shared bases of social action
the total range of
activities and ideas of a group of people with shared traditions, which are
transmitted and reinforced by members of the group”.
To explain better this
definition we can define also the forms to classified the culture are: topic, history, mental, structural and symbolic.
The topic is the economic,
social and religious organization, and the history is the heritage of
adaptation that the past generation leaves to the new generations. The mental
characteristic is the complex of ideas and behavior that a group of people
make. The structural classified is the symbols, structures and constructions,
and the symbolic is the meaning of their worshiped and manners.
Taking in account this we can
say that the oldest cultures are not the unique cultures that have been existed
now days in our cities we have a urban cultures that area a little groups of people
who join because this society discriminates because say it, that is not normal,
to this people is a manner of expression.
Some urban cultures are the
floggers; They are a group of people that are tightly with a web site (Fotolog.com)
they upload photos and videos and they comments and share the photos of others people,
the punks culture are the people that is associate to some kind of music
especially rock music, and they have a peculiarly form to clothing, the skins
are people that are disagree to the politic rules and their principal clothing
characteristic is that skinhead and the Emo culture is for me, a drastic and
dramatic culture because these people believe that be angry and sad is a form
to live.
The Emo culture started in the
decade of 80s. This term was used to describe the hardcore bands then was
calling emotive hard core because the big sentimental content that have this
music change taking some kinds of
different music as pop, rock and electronic music.
This people have a presentation
and aesthetics very obvious because they use piercing, tattoos and clothing as gothic
type, wear dark and pink clothes and converse and vans shoes, t shirt adjusted.
Now days the cultures are
extremes and different but I think is a new way to express oneself, because I
think is easier express in group that alone, but also think that are very exaggerated and look for influence today's
youth.
